Personal addresses:

bishop -????
priest - father;
monk - brother;
nun - sister.

Every founder of the monk community determines his way in search for God.
St.Francisc defined his calling and the calling of his brothers as the way based
on complete and joyful following of the Gospel. According to St.Francisc's
ideas a franciscan monk should love the Gospel, absolutely believe in it in
order to be united with the Lord..
A franciscan is the one who praises God by prayer, work, and smile in the
simplicity of a heart. To live as a franciscan means to be like Jesus, be open to
everyone especially for the poor, the unhappy, the abandoned, becoming a
brother for everyone. It means to praise the Lord with flowers on a green
medow with pure water, with brother fire, not to be too much concerned with
food and drinks like birds in the sky which are fed by God. To live like a franciscan
means to accept the cross, to accept it with faith, hope and love seeing in it the
cross of Jesus Christ. To live like a franciscan means to give one's life for brothers
not once but daily. Not to fear death, our sister, leading us to love and spring true
happiness which we have been waiting for all our life. To live like a franciscan means
to be "crazy" about God, to become mad of love for Him, because He is worthy
of such love.
